Dinner Circles / Friendship Force
While our kids are still under 10 or 12 there are lots of great dinner opportunities to share; ideally where Moms can get a healthy meal; kids can eat for free; and their are leftovers to pack for lunch the next day. Here are some local tips on good deals:

Lunch Bunch
Want to pack a healthy lunch? At the i2Cafe we'll show you how and we'll get you started. We'll even host a night when your kid(s) can come over and make and take their lunches home for the week. Using reusables (small fee) will eliminate waste and help you get your child engage in packing a healthy lunch every day. At our i2Cafe grand opening party we'll have lots of yummy samples for your kid(s) to try and a sign up form for you to choose a plan that works best for you. Small fee applies.
Some Lunch Ideas:
Banana Dogs - yup that's right instead of a hot dog put a banana in bun and provide some yummy toppings like peanut butter spread that raisins, marshmallows or graham crackers would stick to.
Mr./Mrs. Potato Head:
Baked Potato with toppings (brocolli, crumbled bacon, chives, cheese, butter, sourcream).
Gabreghetti Sandwich:
Take two pieces of garlic bread and put spaghetti with meat sauce in the middle, grated parmesan and chill overnight. Serve with a side salad.
Under the Sea:
Tuna with goldfish crackers and blue jello.
Little Protein Pack:
Hard Boiled Eggs, mini-bagel, madarin oranges, brocolli.
Chinese take-out:
Rice, edamames, wontons, cucumbers,chinese noodles and a fortune cookie with your secret note inside.
Turkey Mash:
Turkey tenderloins, cranberry sauce and mashed potato on a roll.
Take a Dip Day:
Blue Jello and carrot sticks, celery sticks, apple slices, grape tomatoes, cucumbers with yogurt or ranch dressing.
Whine and Cheese:
Fruit, cheese squares, wheat crackers, pasta salad. Berry juice box.
Pita pizzas:
Pita bread, cheese, sauce, turkey pepperoni.
Roly Moly:
Turkey, lettuce, tomato, cheese on a wheat wrap and rolled. Serve with Sun Chips.
Nacho Mama:
Tortilla Chips and salsa, cheese, guacamole, shredded lettuce, beans.
Breakfast Menu:
Cereal and Milk, banana and an oatmeal cookie.
French toast sticks with turkey sausage or a waffle with strawberries.
Scrambled eggs, potato and bacon.
Snacks:
Sun Chips
Trail Mix made with popcorn, craisins, yogurt covered pretzels or raisins.
Chocolate Pudding.
